Starting May 17, 2013, passengers will soon enjoy direct flights from Bacolod to Boracay and Palawan and vice versa through PAL Express (formerly Air Philippines).
This will be a good boost to the Philippine tourism since two major tourist destinations Boracay and Palawan will be linked to emerging destination Negros Occidental. Boracay beach is known worldwide for its pristine white sand and Palawan for its beaches and the underground river. Negros Occidental on the other hand is the Organic Agriculture capital of the Philippines.
Bacolod – Caticlan Flight Details
PAL Express will start direct flights from Bacolod to Boracay (Caticlan) on May 17 twice weekly. Here are the details

PAL Express will start direct flights from Bacolod to Palawan (Puerto Princesa) on May 17 twice weekly. Here are the details

Puerto Princesa – Bacolod

- Frequency: Twice weekly (FR/MO)

This will not be the first direct flight linking Bacolod and Boracay since Sky Pasada and Mid Sea Express launched similar flights last year but were already discontinued.
As per email reply of Margo from PAL Express Reservation, the Bacolod Caticlan and Bacolod Puerto Princesa vice versa flights are until further notice.
Important Update as of May 14, 2013
I feel that I have to make an update on this post since like me, you might also have searched on PAL Express website for available flights but was also disappointed that there’s no available flights for Bacolod-Boracay and Bacolod-Palawan.
I immediately sent an email to PAL Express through reservations@flypalexpress.com and here’s what they replied.
Please be informed that we do not have a direct flight from Bacolod to Caticlan, it is a connecting flight from Bacolod to Cebu and Cebu to Caticlan.
