Most people are afraid of Math and Science and consider these subjects boring and hard to learn. But only when we understand how important they are in our daily lives is when we stop fearing them. And with understanding comes the realization that we can use our knowledge of Math and Science to our advantage.
Negros Occidental is very fortunate that the Philippine Foundation for Science and Technology (PFST) in partnership with the Local Government of Sagay City has brought the Philippine Science Centrum Travelling Exhibit in our province. The exhibit opened last September 22 and will run until October 21 at the Tali-ambong Activity Center in Sagay City. For only P50 entrance fee, your kids can learn a lot of things about Science with fun.

The Science Centrum exhibit has galleries with interactive and hands on science exhibits. Let your kids explore and discover the world of Science. The exhibits were designed to make the learning experience enjoyable. Help your kids uncover the mysteries behind natural phenomena and how things work around them. By exposing them to Science, the kids will hopefully become more interested in Science and be inclined to engage themselves in science and technology-related activities and projects.
As what the great Chinese Philosopher Confucius said, “I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand”, let your child experience the fun in learning Science and he will remember it for life and he will come to love Science.
