Four Asian Cuisine at SM City FoodCourt

The SM City Bacolod FoodCourt which opened at the SM North Wing expansion almost a year ago is now fully occupied by tenants offering shoppers not only Filipino food but other Asian cuisine as well. It’s not only convenient but also practical to dine at SM FoodCourt because the prices are very affordable. SM City Food Court recently treated the bloggers and mainstream media with an Asian dinner featuring their four tenants.

Korean Food by Mr. Kimbob

Korean food is on top my list of favorite Asian cuisine and whenever I’m in an SM Mall that doesn’t offer Ilonggo food, I often look for Mr. Kimbob. I like Korean food because they have lots of vegetables and they’re spicy. For our Asian dinner, Mr. Kimbob served it’s bestsellers Bibimbap, Gimbap, Mandu and Kimchi. Bibimbao is Korean’s signature dish which is rice topped with vegetables, kimchi, Korean sauces, and egg. Bibimbap is serves in a hot bowl and you just mix everything before you dig in. I usually add extra kimchi on my bowl to make it spicier. I also love the teokbokki,  flat and triangular rice cake flavored with a sweet red chili sauce.

Mongolian Food by Kublai Khan

Mongolian food is another Asian cuisine with lots of vegetables with your choice of rice, bihon, or pancit. You can either choose your own ingredients or choose from the Kublai Khan’s own mixes. Your bowl is already a mixture of the ingredients you choose. I’ve tried to choose my ingredients and they always come out delicious.

Japanese Food by Tokyo Joe

When it comes to Japanese Food, head over to Tokyo Joe.  Their bestsellers include ramen, bento boxes, and donburi  or rice toppings. The current craze for ramen in Manila is catching up in Bacolod so mall-goers who love ramen will enjoy Tokyo Joe’s.

Four Seasons by Vikings brings Chinese food to SM FoodCourt. Four Seasons offer Chinese food we are already familiar with. They have dimsum and dumplings and rice meals. Four Season is known for their hotpot and they serve shabu-shabu in a small pot at the SM Food Court.
