Northill Gateway gets lighted up for the Holidays

Megaworld gave Bacolodnon’s another reason to look forward to the holiday season as the company lighted the parols and Christmas village at Forbes Hill. The parols were handcrafted by inmates from the Bacolod Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). The attraction is located at the Forbes Hill Clubhouse and along the main road.

This side of Bacolod City is not the only location which will be spruced up for the Holidays by the Andrew Tan Group of Companies. Harold Brian Geronimo, VP for Public Relations and Media Affairs of Megaworld , announced that the Megaworld Corp. will decorate the Bacolod City Government Center, which is across its The Upper East Township. for the Christmas Season. Emperador Inc., another company owned by the Andrew Tan Group, will decorate the Bacolod City Plaza.

The 15-hectare Forbes Hill is the premier residential village inside the 53-hectare Northill Gateway along the Bacolod-Silay Access Road. Houses are currently being built inside Forbes Hills after lots were sold out. Future residents will enjoy the wide, open spaces, and roads which will soon be lined by trees. There’s also the giant fountain surrounded by a garden outside the village gates. Residents will also have a fantastic view of the Negros mountains.

Bacolod’s first ever McDonald’s NXTGen Store

Another much-anticipated first from Megaworld is Bacolod City’s first-ever NXTGen Store in Negros Occidental will be opening soon at Northill Gateway.The sore will be a few steps away from the gates of Forbes Hill and just beside the iconic Las Vegas-inspired Bacolod City Weolcome marker.

“We are excited to have our own unique and first-in-the-province McDonald’s NXTGen store right in front of our Forbes Hill residential village. This will really make the entire township even more promising as this heralds the start of our vibrant commercial developments with Northill Gateway. Our plan is to open the Megaworld-owned store just in time for Christmas,” says Jennifer Palmares-Fong, vice president for sales and marketing, Megaworld Visayas.

The store which is just less than 20 minutes away from Bacolod-Silay Airport will also have a green walll, an expansive alfresco dining area, its own cafe, as well as the city’s first-ever ‘Bike and Dine Facility’. It will also offer Delivery Services.

The free-standing McDonald’s NXTGen in Northill Gateway will feature a modern industrial design and will showcase innovations such as Self-Ordering Kiosks and Drive-Thru Services with Hand-held Order Taking System.

These developments from Megaworld surely adds more color and hope for Baccolod City residents that despite the pandemic, #BacolodKeepsOnRising.
