Panaad Park and Stadium

The Panaad Park and Stadium is located in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City. It is owned by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and was constructed in August 1997 and completed in April 1998 in time for the 1998 Centennial Palarong Pambansa.

Panaad Park has a total area of 25 hectares surrounded by Eucalyptus trees estimated at around 60,000. Panaad Stadium has a seating capacity of 15,500 but can hold up to 20,000 with standing areas. It is considered the most modern football facility in the country. Aside from the football field, it also has a rubberized track oval, an Olympic-size swimming pool, basketball court and other sports facilities. There are also cabanas for picnics.

Aside from sports and concerts, Panaad Park and Stadium is also home of the Panaad sa Negros Festival held every summer. Dubbed as the “Festival of a Festivals,” the Panaad Festival brings together the 13 cities and 19 municipalities of the province where permanent themed pavilions showcase their history, arts and culture, tourism, and products.

How to get to Panaad Stadium
Take the jeepney with Alijis – Central Market route from downtown Bacolod City. Ask the driver to drop you off at Panaad Park. You only pay minimum fare.
