Every little girl who ever dreamed of becoming a princess got their wishes when SM City Bacolod through SM Kids and SM Accessories held the SM Princess Academy last December 4, 2016. Girls aged 4-11 years old had a royal experience when ABS-CBN Cebu lifestyle host and model Blinky de Leon became their Headmistress for the day.
My little girl is already 4 years old so I got her listed for the Princess Academy. We just bought P1,500 worth from SM Kids and SM Accessories. I got her a nice lace pink dress, shoes, and a tiara because a princess has to have a tiara.
I was a little worried because she can be a handful but when she was with the other princesses, she was really well-behaved. The girls had their pictures taken at the Metro Click Photobooth for free.
The girls were taught the royal how-tos like how to sit like a lady, how to walk confidently, and how to do a royal curtsy. They also learned proper etiquette like how to say hello and goodbye, and to say please’s and thank you’s. The girls also learned proper table manners and how to use eating utensils properly. It’s nice to see the girls enjoy their high tea party with their sweets and drinks. They have their royal maids to assist them and to make things orderly even with kids as kulit as mine.
Headmistress Blinky administered their oath to be princesses and they were presented to the mallgoers through a Princess Parade. All of us stage mothers and lolas were all smiles as our little princesses. receive their certificates that they successfully completed their Princess Academy Training Course.
The Princess Academy gave the girls a time to meet and bond with new friends and overcome their shyness. What a nice confidence-boosting experience for the little princesses!
