The Negros Cultural Foundation will launch Tilaw Silay on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at 2pm at Balay Negrense to keep alive the tradition and preserve the rich heritage of Silay City as the food capital of Negros by introducing food tours.
Come and savor the various ‘Silaynon’ food products through an on the spot cooking-demo and food sale. Tickets will be sold at P200 per person which you can use to purchase various food items.
As an added attraction, the artists and artisans of Silay City, will exhibit their works, such as continuous wire sculpture, acrylic & oil paintings, bracelet and bag making, and will make them available for sale.
